May 17, 2010 - "What’s the Question? How to Ask the Right Question at the Right Time"
Presented By: Ray Dunkle and Jeff Bissell
Ray Dunkle is a business unit director with BCG & Company in Akron and Jeff Bissell is the CFO at National Machine Company in Stow. Asking the right question can be the key to success in finding your next job. Developing the ability to ask great questions is a skill that all job seekers and professionals should develop and practice. In most interactions, understanding the other person’s view is vital to responding effectively in a manner that is relevant and understood. The right questions are a powerful way to engage people, to stimulate their thinking, and help them focus on key issues and factors that help the questioner understand an environment, a culture, the job requirements, or challenge in need of a solution.
Ray Dunkle and Jeff Bissell will present a mini-seminar that will help participants prepare for a networking meeting or interview. Attendees will work with other participants to develop appropriate questions in various circumstances and craft a list of questions that will be distributed to the group at the conclusion of the seminar.
