March 1, 2010 - "How to Sell Yourself during an Interview"
Presented By: Marvin Montgomery
Montgomery, a sales and customer service consultant for ERC Services, Inc., asserts that those in career transition have a special opportunity to improve their lives. Those who attended Marvin Montgomery’s sales training or customer service workshops over the past years have referred to his uplifting, informative, inspiring and directive presentations as “Getting Marvinized”.

Montgomery will stress the importance of being organized, enthusiastic, persistent, honest, sincere, and confident not only in the interview, but also throughout the entire career transition phase.
March 15, 2010 - "The Emotional Side of Job Loss: What it Takes to Ride the Rollercoaster"
The emotional rollercoaster of job loss is explored in the context of grief and wellness models. Practical strategies and resources for developing understanding, courage, coping and resilience will be the cornerstones of this fast moving interactive presentation.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Some days you’re on top, other days you feel like you’re hanging on for dear life and then, there are the days when you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom.
