We welcome all who are interested in learning more about the job search process or in specific topics to attend our Monday night meetings, held on the first and third Mondays of each month.

Detailed publicity about each meeting will also appear in the Hudson HUB-Times just prior to the meeting date.
Each meeting will feature a different aspect of the job search process and is led either by a guest speaker or by members of Hudson Job Search.
These meetings and workshops are open to all who are interested in the topics,

Best Practices in a Job Search
is the topic to be presented by Phillip J. Stella at the Hudson Job
Search meeting on Monday December 1 at Christ Episcopal Church. A noted
speaker and trainer Phil Stella, President of Effective Training &
Communication, Inc. will review the multiple effective job search methods.
rom both sides, what to say and not to say, and how to engage the interviewer
in the job seeker’s skill set and accomplishments.
Stella acknowledges that the
current competitive job market calls for the job seeker to form deliberate
goals and skill development. Among best practices he will include
develop the 30 second introduction, networking and resume content,
and communicating on three levels in a job interview.
Phil Stella is president of
Effective Training and Communications Inc. of Mayfield and a veteran
of the communications industry. Prior to starting his consulting practice
in 1990, he managed corporate communications at Progressive Insurance
for 10 years. He has a master’s degree in television from the University
of Illinois.

Rick has devoted many years
to assisting people in career transition and human resources. As President
of Ratliff & Taylor, he oversees talent management on a global scale.
He is also President of Northeast Ohio Human Resources Planning Society
and is a founder of a national award winning Human Resources networking
group.
Taylor will include information
on networking, outplacement, executive searches and responses to participants
questions.
