Joe Rusnak, Director of Hudson Job Search (HJS), has announced his plans to retire from the organization at the end of the summer this year.
Rusnak has led the Hudson Job Search organization for more than 4 years. During his time, Joe has increased the organization’s volunteer advisor staff, community-wide recognition and financial standing. These efforts combined to improve service levels to HJS’s clients.
“Joe Rusnak’s leadership has been a significant contribution to the residents of Hudson and those who attend Hudson’s places of worship,” said Hudson Mayor William “Bill” Currin. “Our community’s residents, like others in our State, have been impacted by this recession. During Joe’s tenure as Director, he has worked tirelessly to ensure that the community’s need for outplacement assistance was met. He has demonstrated a remarkable degree of commitment, compassion, and dedication to community service. We will miss his leadership and we thank him for all he has done.”
The Trustees of HJS have established a search team to find a new director. Hudson residents with an interest in community service should contact Bob Madison at (330) 283-1354 or madrsbar@aol.com for more details about this key volunteer role.
Hudson Job Search was started in 1982 by a group of concerned Hudson residents with the vision of providing free confidential outplacement services to the Hudson community. Since that time, HJS has served nearly 3,000 clients with a wide array of support for their job search efforts.
